Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rap musician who is known for his unique style. Baker was born to his English Scottish German family in Houston, Texas U.S.A. On April 22nd in 1991. His parents were missionaries. In his early years Baker traveled a lot with them. James Colson Baker battled depression and joblessness, and his Mother Sonia Alane dumped him at the age of nine. Baker and his father relocated to Denver and lived in the home of his father's Aunt. Baker had to endure bullying from other youngsters because of his poor status. His first exposure to Rap was in the sixth the sixth grade. Colson Baker, better known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. The music he creates is a fusion of modern hip-hop and alternative, as well as rock. Baker produced four mixtapes before signing to Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. In late 2011, this Cleveland rapper was a household name after he made the transition to self-releasing mixtapes to working for reputed label labels. His career took off after that, with each of his records making the top ten charts.
